Abstract
Drones are being used in a wide variety of fields. In addition to agricultural drones that normally spray liquid or granules, drones equipped with thermal fog machines have also appeared. The thermal fog machine is effective in controlling pests that are difficult to remove with liquid pesticides. Just as drones for spraying liquids are continuously being developed considering the optimal nozzle position, research on the optimal nozzle position is also needed for drones that use thermal fog machine. In this study, it was analyzed how the downwash of the propeller and the position of the thermal fog nozzle affect the fog pattern. As a result of the experiment, when the nozzle is placed in the ‘maximum efficiency section’ of the propeller, it is judged that the fog are most effectively delivered to the ground.
