Precision Agriculture Science and Technology(PAST), an international open access journal for advanced scientific aspects of precision agricultural science and technology, provides effective publication of original research articles, review articles, and technical notes quarterly (March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31) for advanced technical area of precision farming. Special issue also can be published when necessary.
The journal aims to selectively publish an original articles to advance and disseminate scientific and technical knowledge in the field of precision agriculture. PAST covers various topics in the field of precision agriculture including the latest in computer science as well as conventional farming machinery, with hardware and software engineering.
The specific topics are addressed as followed, but are not limited to: 1) Data-based cultivation including measurement, design, and control of agricultural system, 2) Smart farming for various agricultural facilities to provide optimal environmental conditions and precise treatment, 3) Agri-product digitalization including postharvest technology to maintain optimal product quality like freshness, safety, 4) Biological engineering to digitize the crop information like growth (including biomechanics, biosensors, etc.), and 5) information technology including electronical and informative applications to provide connective farming and it also cover the agricultural robot and the latest computer and data science like artificial intelligence.
