Abstract

In this study, the agricultural by-product collecting monitoring system was designed by using load-cell and perform performance test. Because the load-cell is very sensitive to vibration and external environment, it is important to increase the collecting monitoring system. Therefore, calibration was performed for each using load-cell and upper loading plate area using a weight. As a result, the maximum error rate between the actual weight of the and the weight measured by each load-cell was 0.58%, 0.22%, 0.50%, and 0.33%. Also, the maximum error rate between the actual weight of the weight for each upper loading plate area was 1.39%, 1.80%, 0.45%, 0.92%, and 0.43%. A performance test of the agricultural by-product collecting monitoring was performed using apple tree pruning branches generated in actual orchard farm. After operating the agricultural by-product collector, the pruning branches were distributed in the loading part and the actual pruning branches was compared with the weight measured by the agricultural by-product collecting monitoring system. As a result of the performance test, the average error rate and the maximum error rate were measured to be 1.93% and 4%. Therefor, it is determined that the agricultural by-product collecting monitoring system operates normally.
